Role Overview

The selected candidate will manage DCAS-funded projects; perform scientific research and analysis; and provide technical assistance for planning, funding, and implementing projects within the agency. These projects represent critical initiatives to improve efficiency, effectiveness, coordination, and delivery of formalized efforts in support of the agency’s climate goals.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: tracking and reporting progress on portfolio of projects, identifying potential projects and generating applications, assisting project managers, providing analytical assistance, supporting procurement and documentation of projects, and participating in ad-hoc projects.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in an appropriate field of specialization and at least two years of experience in a responsible supervisory, administrative or research capacity.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological or environmental science or in public health
  • At least two years of experience in a responsible supervisory, administrative or research capacity in the appropriate field of specialization
