Associate Executive Director of Operations

The Associate Executive Director of Operations is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for creating an exceptional human experience for the people who make our mission possible. This position provides leadership and oversight for Human Resources, Finance, Volunteer Services, and Facilities, ensuring that the organization's people, systems, and physical environment are aligned to support the mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
• Significant progressive leadership experience in Human Resources, operations, organizational development, nonprofit management, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience supervising and developing managers and cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated experience with employee recruitment, onboarding, training, development, performance management, and retention
• 3+ years of experience developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and organizational systems
• Experience and understanding of financial management in the non-profit sector
• Experience working with or overseeing volunteer programs
• Strong understanding of workplace culture and employee engagement
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a strategic perspective
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong working relationships
