Role OverviewThis role is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of a natural gas compressor station and pipeline system to ensure safe, reliable product flow and full regulatory compliance. The position provides environmental, health, safety, and reliability support for natural gas transmission operations.
What You Will Do
Duties include operating the compressor station on a rotating schedule, responding to callouts during assigned operating weeks, and participating in an area-wide on-call rotation for emergency or abnormal operating conditions. The position involves identifying and reporting abnormal or unsafe conditions, completing accident and near-miss reporting, supporting emergency response efforts, performing regulatory compliance activities, and conducting equipment maintenance and repair.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The role requires acquiring Operator Qualification (OQ) tasks and may occasionally involve assisting at other work locations. The successful candidate will be required to reside within 30 miles of the facility.
