Role OverviewThe Associate General Counsel – Litigation, Compliance & Risk Management leads legal matters involving litigation, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, risk management, employment-related legal issues, and dispute resolution.
What You Will Do
Manage company litigation, oversee outside counsel, and help protect the organization from legal and operational risk.

Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the State of Michigan and membership in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience practicing law, including substantial experience in litigation, regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate legal matters.
- Proven ability to manage complex litigation, disputes, government inquiries, settlements, and outside counsel relationships.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, business operations, regulatory compliance, licensing, permitting, and organizational risk management.
- Experience advising executive leadership and Human Resources on employment law, employee relations, workplace compliance, and other high-risk legal issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
