Job Description
The Franklin Biomass Facility generates 55 net megawatts of clean, renewable energy by converting sustainably sourced wood biomass into electricity. The Associate Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical (IC&E) Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the facility.

Requirements

  • Assist in performing calibration, testing, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems
  • Update and optimize PLC and DCS logic-based controls
  • Carry out corrective, preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on electrical systems
  • Calibrate and maintain precision instruments such as pressure and temperature transmitters and stack CEMS equipment
  • Use DCS and SCADA systems to monitor and support efficient operation of boilers, steam turbine generators, and emissions control systems
