Job Description
The Scanner is responsible for assisting the supervisor with load line activity, organizing and leading small groups of employees, and ensuring vehicle location procedures are completed in a timely and organized manner. Additional duties include troubleshooting problems, performing final inspections, and promoting safety and adherence to policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge)
  • Experience operating automatic and straight (manual) shift vehicles
  • Ability to effectively communicate, understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Problem-solving abilities and detail orientation
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety
