Job Description
The Associate Network & Systems Administrator will perform basic to moderately difficult administration functions for the corporate enterprise network and platforms and operating systems. They will install, configure and maintain network, server and operating system software, hardware and associated systems software tools. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of networking infrastructure and physical IT Infrastructure components, with experience in installing, terminating, and troubleshooting copper, fiber, and patch panels and cable management systems. They should also have a security-first mindset and be able to troubleshoot effectively across a wide range of issues.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of operating system architectures, characteristics, components and commands applicable to multiple platform operating systems
  • Knowledge of network architectures and theory and principles of network design and integration
  • Ability to perform basic to moderately difficult systems administration functions in a multi-segment, multi-platform and multi-operating system and network environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and connectivity problems
