Role OverviewThe System Safety Engineer will conduct thorough safety analyses at the airplane and system level across various engineering disciplines, leading the integration of airplane systems, human factors, and safety assessments. The role requires attention to detail and a keen engineering mindset, with a focus on regulatory compliance, design safety, and product integrity.
What You Will Do
Primary responsibilities include defining and validating safety, mission success, and airworthiness, creating and maintaining aerospace safety and mission assurance tools and processes, and collaborating on system and airplane level analyses.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications
- 2+ years of related work experience (Level 2) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in aerospace systems engineering
- Experience with system safety analysis
- Experience effectively communicating, both verbally and in writing, and collaborating on multi-discipline teams
- Experience working with FAR Part 25.1309, and industry practices like ARP 4761 & 4754
- Experience working with cross discipline engineering teams
- Experience in airplane systems design and/or analysis (e.g. flight controls, hydraulics, avionics, fuels, etc.) and/or systems integration
