Role Overview

As an Associate Plant Engineer, you will support activities related to the design, modification, and operation of process equipment in the ethanol plant. You will review process equipment/data to improve plant operations, coordinate with fleet engineering resources, and support projects from conception through completion.

What You Will Do

You will support plant operations by reviewing, studying, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting plant systems and equipment, analyze and interpret data for opportunities to improve production, efficiencies, yields, and operating costs, and prepare justification, cost estimates, and other project documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher degree) in Engineering required
  • Able and willing to work on-site and in-person, required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • In-field maintenance and operations support experience preferred
  • Experience in ethanol production, chemical processing, food processing, oil refining, or power plant industry preferred
