Associate Product Manager

The Outdoor Power Equipment Division of Stanley Black & Decker is looking for an Associate Product Manager to join the Residential Ride-On product team. In this hybrid role, you will have the opportunity to expand and maintain major product lines targeting residential lawn maintenance. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to effectively work with others across the organization including engineering, brand marketing, IT, sales and supply chain.

What You Will Do

Direct and coordinate strategic marketing activities to achieve operating plans for the business; present new products, merchandising, and promotional strategies to buyers and successfully execute market communication plans and new product launches; analyze and track POS, inventory, market share, and competitive landscapes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in product management, engineering, or closely related experience
• Desire and ability to be hands-on with the equipment they will be managing
• Ability to interact with end users and identify opportunities to streamline their work
• Financial acumen and analytical ability with a strategic mindset
• Strong research skills, and the ability to influence strategy based on results
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Able to author and clearly present product updates to key stakeholders
• A 'can-do' attitude with the desire to go above and beyond in all you do
• Collaborative mindset balanced with the ability to have a high level of autonomy
