Associate Product Manager

The Minnesota Star Tribune is seeking a dynamic leader to help shape the future of the company as an Associate Product Manager. The role is responsible for maximizing the value of a product, serving as liaison between the business and development teams, and ensuring the voice of customers is represented.

What You Will Do

Develop and manage product requirements, prioritize the product backlog, participate in Agile ceremonies, define acceptance criteria, and collaborate with leadership to define product goals and roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Journalism, or a related field
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum product development environments
• Knowledge of product management principles
• Ability to gather requirements, define scope, and translate business needs into product solutions
• Understanding of customer experience, UX design principles, and A/B testing methodologies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and make recommendations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptable, collaborative, and proactive problem solver
• Familiarity with Confluence and product management documentation tools
• Knowledge of digital products, media, consumer growth strategies, and industry trends
