Role Overview

As an Associate Product Owner, you will be responsible for managing projects and coordinating with peers to achieve program level success. You will facilitate various meetings, workshops, and ceremonies to support all types of work for the team, and ensure the accurate and timely upkeep of data related to the team's performance. The role requires strong communication skills, ability to present information to technical and non-technical customers/stakeholders, and effective management of procurement, software development, and hardware as required by the project.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing multiple concurrent complex projects, driving establishment of team ground rules and cultural norms, enabling collaboration across all roles and functions, and ensuring the team is fully functional and productive. You will also be responsible for reviewing action items, holding the team accountable for follow-through, and managing budget estimates, actual cost, and remaining work forecast/cost evaluations.

Requirements

  • Experience with various project management methodologies (waterfall, Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present information to technical and non-technical customers/stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile tools/products such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, and Clarity
  • PMP certification or Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) is preferred
