Role OverviewThe Associate Quality Designer will be part of the Quality Verification team, responsible for testing, documenting, and analyzing the game during production. The role requires a deep understanding of the technical structure of games, how to apply new testing methodologies, and the ability to speak to what tools will be the most effective. The Associate Quality Designer must demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the industry, including different platforms, game styles, and genres to ensure the team is focused on providing the strongest end-to-end coverage and experience for EA's players.
What You Will Do
The Associate Quality Designer will build working relationships with development, production, and design teams to promote a higher quality player experience. They will propose and bring solutions to problems from senior leadership, end-to-end review quality strategy, and test plans, as well as test cases. The Associate Quality Designer will also leverage the use of testing tools and AI capabilities to inform testing strategies, optimize test coverage, and streamline quality workflows.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent QA experience) with an understanding of Agile/Scrum and software development lifecycles
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking software (preferably Jira), QA planning tools, and gaming console platforms
- Skilled in writing comprehensive test plans and cases using black, gray, and white box testing practices
- Deep knowledge of American/College Football and familiarity with the College Football video game series
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
