Role Overview

As a member of the Real Estate Funds & Co-Investments team, you will work with leading real estate fund managers globally, and also in selective co-investments alongside our fund partners. You will gain broad exposure across fund investments and co-investments, and enjoy significant responsibilities spanning from investment underwriting and selection to meeting and developing relationships with leading real estate managers.

What You Will Do

Work as a key member of small deal teams to diligence, assess, and execute real estate fund investments and co-investments, take on primary role in fund-level and asset-level financial modeling, present investment proposals to investment committee, review fund documentation alongside external counsel, monitor and manage existing fund investments and co-investments, help build and maintain relationships with existing and new fund managers, and represent GIC at our investee funds' annual investor meetings and LP advisory committee meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a business, finance or real estate finance focus
  • Minimum of 2 years investment banking or real estate experience
  • Strong modeling, research, writing and presentation skills
  • Team player with strong work ethic and communication skills
  • Proactive self-starter, able to work independently and develop a point of view
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
