Role OverviewThe Associate Retirement Benefits Examiner will provide a great customer experience to clients of the New York City Employees’ Retirement System, handling inbound and outbound calls, and addressing customers’ needs and concerns.

Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent, and 2 years of experience in mathematical, statistical, actuarial, or accounting computations, or equivalent experience in a financial institution or a position requiring the application of law, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- Associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college or university
- 9 semester credits in mathematics, statistics, accounting, and/or actuarial science
- 2 years of experience in mathematical, statistical, actuarial, or accounting computations
- Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization
