Role OverviewThe Associate Retirement Benefits Examiner, Level 2 will work closely with the supervisor to plan, coordinate, and monitor workflow priorities, deadlines, and case assignments. They will review and quality-check case files, maintain and monitor records of members eligible to appeal Medical Board determinations, and coordinate and schedule Board appeal hearings.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include reviewing and quality-checking case files, assembling and reviewing case files for Board of Trustees meetings, analyzing Medical Board reports, and conducting outreach to members to confirm appointments.

Requirements
- Associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college or university
- 9 semester credits in mathematics, statistics, accounting, and/or actuarial science
- 2 years of satisfactory full-time experience performing mathematical, statistical, actuarial, or accounting computations
- Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization
- Four years of experience described in "1" above
