Associate Security Engineer

Support the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls across CoStar Group, including endpoints, identities, cloud platforms, applications, and business processes. Learn and reinforce security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences while gaining hands-on experience in areas such as vulnerability management, endpoint security, security tool integration, threat detection and response, software security, and emerging areas such as AI security and automation.

What You Will Do

Deploy, support, and improve security technologies under the guidance of experienced team members. Troubleshoot technical issues, identify potential causes, and document findings or recommended next steps. Communicate technical information clearly in written and verbal formats.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a comparable major.
• Must have an expected graduation date of December 2026 - June 2027.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity through personal endeavors outside of undergraduate degree program
• At least 2 months of previous relevant internship or co-op experience.
• Exposure to scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, identify potential causes, and document findings or recommended next steps.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly in written and verbal formats.
• Ability to follow established processes, document work accurately, and collaborate with technical teams.
