Role OverviewAs an Associate Underwriter, you'll join a team that provides contract, fidelity, and commercial surety solutions through a nationwide network of more than 4,500 independent insurance agencies. Based in Brookfield, WI, the Associate Underwriter will have the opportunity to develop a rewarding career in the surety industry while working alongside experienced professionals who value collaboration, creativity, and exceptional service.
What You Will Do
Evaluate bond submissions, review credit reports and references, assess risk, and make approval or declination decisions within established authority. You'll work closely with branch personnel, agents, and management to gather and analyze account information, maintain accurate underwriting files, and support business growth across your territory.
