Job Description
The NYC Department of Environmental Protection seeks an Associate Water Use Inspector to oversee water use inspection programs, prepare training programs, and enforce rules and regulations. The selected candidate will work under the direction of the Chief Inspector and Office Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Three years of satisfactory full-time mechanical experience in plumbing or in water use inspection, one year of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity
  • Education and/or experience equivalent to the above requirement
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, climb ladders, and lift heavy items
