Role Overview

The Association Banking Portfolio Manager is responsible for the management of an Association Banking loan portfolio, as well as underwriting and presenting community association loans for approval. This role requires a broad knowledge of fields such as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. The manager will work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, with the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals, and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities of this role include underwriting and presenting community association loans for approval, managing an association banking loan portfolio, ensuring timely payment of loans, negotiating terms and conditions with existing borrowers, and closing loan renewals/increases in accordance with approved terms and conditions.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years lending experience
  • Five (5) years experience with banking, investment, or economic analysis
  • Two (2) years experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • College degree in general business, finance, economics or accounting, preferred
  • Must have general computer skills
  • The ability to communicate using oral and written skills
