Job Description
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking an Association Director of Competitive Swimming to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for the growth and quality of competitive swimming across all association branches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Education, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in competitive swimming, with multi-site or high-level team oversight preferred
  • Strong knowledge of USA Swimming and YMCA swimming operations and governance
  • Certified USA Swimming Coach and YMCA Swim Coach (or ability to obtain)
  • Current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, First Aid, and Safety Training certifications
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience managing budgets, staff, and large-scale programs
