Role Overview

Athletic Trainers at Prevea Health are responsible for ensuring the provision of comprehensive medical care and oversight of sports medicine services at assigned educational institutions. This position provides athletic training services for assigned sports, including injury and illness evaluation, treatments, rehabilitation, referrals, and maintaining timely/accurate medical records.

What You Will Do

Serve as primary athletic training and medical contact for all sports, teams, and community events, coordinating all medical care for assigned student-athletes. Perform administrative duties, including documentation, insurance guidance, and scheduling of patient follow-up appointments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Athletic Training program
  • State of Wisconsin Athletic Training License
  • Certified Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATA BOC)
  • CPR/Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification
  • Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Strength & Conditioning Certification by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA)
  • Certification in specialty area, e.g. skin fold testing, casting, dry needling, etc.
