Athletics Field Groundskeeper

Requirements

• Knowledge of reading and interpretation of plans and specifications
• Knowledge of equipment, material and supplies used in building and grounds maintenance and related facilities
• Knowledge of turf management and sports field maintenance practices
• Skill in the use of hand and electrical tools and equipment used in building and construction, and athletic field grooming equipment
• Ability to interpret field diagrams and apply accurate markings
• Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to operate basic computer functions (email, digital timecard, data entry, etc.)
• Ability to work effectively with clients, employees, vendors, patrons, and others
• Ability to prioritize work
• Ability to plan, organize and supervise the work of others
• Ability to prove their own work and work of others
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle
