Job Description
The Attorney-HEARING OFFICER will act as a department attorney hearing officer in the Office of the Agency Clerk and Informal Hearings by conducting informal hearings and reviewing evidence. The role involves correctly interpreting statutes, judicial decisions, regulations, and applying that information to arrive at a correct conclusion of law in an issued final order.

Requirements

  • Law degree from an accredited law school
  • Requires membership in the Florida Bar within 12 months of appointment
  • Pass a background screening, including fingerprinting, as a condition of employment
