The Department of Social Services' Office of Legal Affairs is seeking an Attorney II to provide legal assistance to HRA and DHS program areas, draft legal documents, and represent the Commissioner in judicial proceedings.

Requirements

  • Admission to the New York State Bar
  • One year of satisfactory United States legal experience subsequent to admission to any state bar
  • Six months of satisfactory service as an Agency Attorney Interne
  • Ability to remain a Member of the New York State Bar in good standing for the duration of employment
