The role involves writing, optimizing, and analyzing online content, including social media, and understanding the Chron's content management system.

Requirements

  • Manage the Chron site as needed, including writing stories and pulling data.
  • Optimize stories for embedding, recirculation, and storytelling.
  • Prepare and send newsletters and notifications.
  • Deep understanding of content management systems like Sailthru and Datawrapper.
  • Writing and communication skills, AP Style knowledge.
  • Time management and strategic promotion.
