Audio/Video & Security System Technician

We are looking for an experienced Audio/Video & Security System installation technician to join us in Greenville, SC. This position will support business between Greenville, SC and Atlanta, GA including the surrounding areas. Candidates will need to reside in or around the Greenville, SC area.

What You Will Do

Performs service, installation, and activation of security systems, surround sound systems, system components, speakers, TV hangs, and remote controls. Troubleshoots and repairs existing wiring installed for Phone/Data/Intercom/Security/WAP’s/Basic Audio/Cameras/etc.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Security/AV Installations required
• Have in-depth knowledge of security systems operation, functions, and wiring requirements
• Understands cable types and technologies and can distinguish which types to use in installation scenarios
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work in a clean and unobtrusive manner
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within standard accepted practices
• Must have or be willing to obtain basic tools to perform job responsibilities
• Must be able to clear a background check and drug screening
• Clear MVR required
• Technical or Vocational related schooling is preferred
