Role OverviewAs an Audit Staff at Cherry Bekaert, you will work on a wide variety of audit engagements under the supervision of different accounting professionals. You will engage and serve clients from various industries, communicate with project in-charges and clients, develop technical accounting skills, and prepare audit checklists and adjust journal entries. You will also gain business writing experience and prepare financial statements alongside clients. You will perform other essential duties as needed.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. Masters preferred
- CPA certified or the eligibility to work toward obtaining a CPA license
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel and occasional out-of-town travel
- Ability to work moderate overtime throughout the year with heavier overtime required during certain business cycles
