Job Description
The Alameda County Auditor-Controller Agency is seeking an Auditor Associate I to perform routine and moderately difficult and/or technical clerical work involving the exercise of some independent judgment in following instructions within established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will respond to inquiries from the public or other County departments, maintain various records, and monitor and compile data from various sources.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in the classification of Clerk II or in an equivalent or higher level clerical classification in Alameda County classified service
  • 2 years of full-time clerical experience, including 1 year of full-time experience performing duties of a complex and technical nature in applying legal statutes and rules
  • Education from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
