Requirements

  • Review claim files for appraisal assignments, understanding dispute parameters and valuation issues.
  • Perform loss inspections to evaluate disputed damages, and develop an independent scope of repairs and valuation.
  • Act as the company's appointed appraiser in appraisal proceedings, and engage in professional appraiser-to-appraiser discussions to narrow scope and pricing differences.
  • Evaluate disputed repair methodologies, quantities, pricing, and code-related considerations, and provide clear rationale supporting the company's appraisal position.
