Role OverviewAs an Auto Body Technician, you will examine damaged vehicles, plan repair processes, and perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status. You will work with others to communicate vehicle repair status and make decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include examining damaged vehicles, removing upholstery and accessories, filing, grinding, and sanding repaired surfaces, and directing the work of an apprentice when needed.
Why It Might Be a Fit
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the ability to use a frame machine, certification in body repair, knowledge of vehicle repair processes, and I-CAR welding certification. You will also need to be able to analyze and interpret measuring data, supervise repair personnel, and pass a thorough background check.
