Role OverviewAs an Auto Body Technician at Crash Champions, you will examine damaged vehicles, plan repair processes, and perform quality repairs while meeting on-time status. You will work with others to communicate vehicle repair status and make decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time. You will also participate in safety meetings, file, grind, and sand repaired surfaces, and direct the work of an apprentice when needed.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include examining damaged vehicles, planning repair processes, performing quality repairs, and communicating with others on vehicle repair status. You will also make decisions on repair vs. replace and participate in safety meetings.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for a candidate with the ability to use a frame machine, certification in body repair, knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer, I-CAR welding certification, and skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data. You should also be able to supervise repair personnel and pass a thorough background check.
