Role OverviewThe mission of the New York City Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in New York City by working in partnership with the community to enforce the law, preserve peace, protect the people, reduce fear, and maintain order. The Fleet Services Division is responsible for the upkeep and/or repair of all NYPD vehicles and vehicles from other contracted city agencies.
What You Will Do
The duties of the position include making repairs to the body of damaged NYPD Vehicles.

Requirements
- Five years of full-time satisfactory experience as an auto body worker
- At least three years of full-time satisfactory experience as an auto body worker
- Possession of a Certificate of Fitness Type G-60 Torch Use of Flammable Gases for Hot Work Operations issued by the New York City Fire Department
- Motor Vehicle Driver License valid in the State of New York
