Role OverviewWe are seeking an Auto/Diesel Mechanic for a position in Baton Rouge, LA. The Auto/Diesel Mechanic repairs automotive equipment, including but not limited to, trucks, carts, buggies, air compressors, welding machines, cranes, dirt equipment and trailers. Non-exempt role; Reports to Direct Supervisor / Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.
What You Will Do
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various automotive and heavy equipment, Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

- Must have a minimum of 2-5 years experience with heavy equipment, cars and trucks
- Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- General gasoline and diesel engine knowledge
- Ability to diagnose and repair equipment
- Organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and work self-directed and alone at times
- ASME certified preferred
- Technical training and/or industrial related safety experience
