Job Description
The New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY) is seeking an Auto Mechanic to join their team. The primary responsibilities of this role include overhauling, repairing and maintaining engines, motors and motor-powered equipment, as well as performing related work.

Requirements

  • Five years of full-time satisfactory experience as an auto mechanic
  • Not less than two and one-half years of full-time satisfactory experience as an auto mechanic plus sufficient helper or apprentice experience or relevant full-time education
  • New York State Class B Commercial Driver License ('CDL') or a Motor Vehicle Driver License valid in the State of New York and a Learner's Permit for a Class B Commercial Driver License
