Job Description
The Manager in Training will travel to several Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts stores in the area while training to become Store Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for management functions such as purchasing, budgeting, accounting, and personnel work, as well as providing customer service and support to the overall success of store operations.

Requirements

  • Follow instructions and steps necessary to learn the company's policies, procedures, and business model.
  • Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers.
  • Inventory stock and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level.
  • Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales.
  • Hire, train, and evaluate personnel in retail sales stores, promoting or firing workers when appropriate.
  • Ensure responsiveness to requests and compliance with company security requirements.
  • Perform work activities of subordinates, such as cleaning and organizing shelves and displays and selling merchandise.
  • Ability and willingness to advance within the company when a position becomes available.
  • Adhere to scheduled work time unless authorized by a manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
