Job Description
Part-time Automation Engineer Intern position with Caltrol, designing and implementing Distributed Control System (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based systems, creating operator graphics, and participating in system testing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Science engineering, graduating by 2026 or 2027
  • Strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate technical concepts
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Team attitude and willingness to coordinate projects internally
  • Willingness to learn and be part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team
  • Works well under pressure, sometimes meeting multiple and conflicting deadlines
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills in the use of creative learning techniques
  • Must have valid driver's license and a clean driving record
