Role OverviewAs an Automation Engineer within our Intralogistics Solutions Group, you will promote Carolina Handling both internally and externally, working closely with Sales and Operations. You will support the sale of Automation Systems, AGVs, and AMRs by coordinating and supporting technical activities across multiple departments, systems, and workflows.
What You Will Do
Assist sales representatives with system specification analysis, support site surveys, prepare quotes, conduct demos, and train the sales force. Review and design solutions, create facility layouts, prepare bills of material, collect vendor pricing, and support customer proposals.

Requirements
- College degree or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience in material handling sales, automation, or similar industries
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other software suites
- Proficient in basic pricing and bill of materials preparation
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
