Role OverviewThe Automation & Engineering Lead will continuously evaluate new and emerging warehouse automation technologies, design automation solutions, and lead end-to-end automation projects. The role involves working closely with warehouse operations, IT/OT, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure automation solutions are adopted and sustained. The Automation & Engineering Lead will also support integration between automation systems and WMS/WCS/ERP platforms, develop SOPs, and train operators and maintenance teams.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include evaluating new technologies, designing automation solutions, leading projects, and ensuring solutions meet operational, safety, and automotive customer compliance requirements. The Automation & Engineering Lead will also analyze labor-intensive tasks, develop automation roadmaps, and partner with operations leadership to prioritize automation initiatives.

Requirements
- Grade 12 education, along with an Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related)
- Demonstrated experience transforming manual warehouse or logistics operations through automation
- Hands-on experience executing automation projects in warehouse or distribution environments
- Valid driver’s licence
- Criminal background check, Drug Screen, and Post Offer Pre-employment physical
