Job Description
USCS is seeking an Automation Technician II to support the operation of an automated material handling system. The successful candidate will diagnose and resolve errors, both physical and IT related, and use various computer applications to ensure accurate inventory positioning in the system.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Advanced industry-specific training and/or certificate is highly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge and working experience with computer systems (prefer WMS and WCS experience)
  • Highly skilled with PLC
  • Effectively commission and repair conveyer systems and ASRS Cranes
  • Proficient in electrical systems
  • Excellent technical understanding and experience with basic computer operation
  • Flexibility to work all shifts including weekends
  • Prefer understanding of Distribution Center processes
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Capable of scheduling one's own tasks and handling all facets of assigned tasks independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
  • Team-oriented and collaborative
  • Creative-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent ability to learn new technologies
