Role Overview

The Automation Technician I is responsible for maintaining reliability and work planning metrics/KPI's to improve or sustain machine performance. They provide technical support on equipment reliability initiatives and metrics, coordinate investigations of equipment-related performance incidents, and perform root cause analysis for any machine performance issue.

What You Will Do

The Automation Technician I will perform maintenance, cleaning, and repair tasks for dosage equipment, read electrical drawings, and perform electrical/electronic/automation/mechanical troubleshooting. They will also inventory control of spare parts, project development, and execution of scheduled maintenance.

Requirements

  • Associates in Automation Technology / Electronics / Mechatronics
  • 5 years direct manufacturing experience

  • Experienced PLC/ Buss system troubleshooting knowledge
  • Experience in high volume automated manufacturing
  • Intermediate knowledge high speed camera inspection system
  • Intermediate knowledge high speed labeling systems
