Role Overview

As an Automotive Alignment Technician at Mavis Tires & Brakes, you will use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. You will also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles. You will work in a state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales center.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include using the latest equipment to align tires and wheels, completing state-mandated inspections, and performing other required automotive services and vehicle repairs. You will work with customers to ensure their vehicles are properly serviced and maintained.

Why It Might Be a Fit

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires, or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. You will also need to be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair.

Requirements

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
  • possess a state inspection license (preferred)
