Role OverviewThe Automotive Assistant & Service Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. They are responsible for enforcing established policies, scheduling mechanics/technicians' work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and the safety of team members.
What You Will Do
The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections, recommends necessary under-car repair services, directs the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, and stages vehicle repair/maintenance work. They communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, and strive to meet customer expectations.

To be eligible for the position, you must have 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Have 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales
- Have 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance
- Have any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
