Automotive Assistant & Service Manager

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under-car repair services. They must direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians and stage vehicle repair/maintenance work.

What You Will Do

The Assistant Manager is responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians' work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and the safety of team members. The Service Manager must assist customers with tire selections, recommend necessary under-car repair services, and ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely completion of high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance.

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must be at least 18 years of age, be legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, automotive repairs/maintenance, or any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
