Role OverviewWe're looking for full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers. As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.
What You Will Do
Perform a wide variety of undercar repairs, including brakes, struts and shocks, complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate and balance tires.
Why It Might Be a Fit
To be eligible for the position, you must have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, possess an extensive tool box of personal tools, and have a state inspection license(s) and/or ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- be legally authorized to work in the United States
- possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
- possess an extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
- have a state inspection license(s)
- have ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5)
