Job Description
We are a busy automotive repair shop looking for a Service Advisor to greet customers, address their vehicle issues, and explain necessary repairs and costs. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a Service Advisor or related position and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Gather essential details at check-in, including VIN, mileage, build date, and customer concerns.
  • Conduct a thorough walkaround of the customer's vehicle during check-in.
  • Ensure that all technician recommendations are justified with detailed notes.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and effective customer service.
  • Sell recommended repairs and maintenance based on the company's profit matrix.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Store Manager, Shop Foreman, Technicians, and Parts Manager.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control Technicians to ensure each vehicle is quality-checked before release.
  • Manage customer expectations and regularly update customers throughout the repair process.
  • Create and manage repair orders, quotes, and invoices.
