Job Description
Vicinity Energy is seeking an Auxiliary Operator III to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or trade school diploma, and a minimum of 1 year of related experience in military, utility, or heavy industry, or a trade school graduate. Responsibilities include operating and monitoring auxiliary equipment, performing minor maintenance tasks, and maintaining safe working conditions. The position requires the ability to work rotating shifts, including overtime, and a willingness to submit to a company-provided physical and drug screening as part of the pre-employment screening process.

Requirements

  • Starts, stops, operates, monitors, and notes operating conditions of auxiliary equipment
  • Reports conditions, trends, and abnormalities to Control Operator
  • Performs minor maintenance on valves, fans, etc. as required
  • Maintains safe working conditions
  • Performs housekeeping duties
