Role OverviewAs an Aviation Meteorologist at Flexjet, you will be responsible for providing accurate and reliable weather forecasts to ensure the safe and efficient operation of flights. You will conduct in-depth analysis of meteorological data, deliver comprehensive weather updates, and provide recommendations regarding flight planning and scheduling to Operations.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of flights by delivering timely and tailored weather and air traffic information to several departments, including Owner Services, Operations, and Flight.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, or a related field, with a solid foundation in meteorological principles and practices.
- FAA Aircraft Dispatcher License, FAA Commercial Pilot, Instrument Pilot, or Airline Transport Pilot ratings.
- Demonstrated expertise in aviation meteorology and a deep understanding of its applications to flight operations.
- Proficiency in the use of meteorological software and tools, such as weather models, radar, and satellite imagery.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a range of audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety procedures.
- Flexibility and availability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
