Role OverviewThe Avionics Technician IV will be responsible for the repair and installation of all categories of avionics and navigation equipment for rotary wing and fixed-wing aircraft. The individual will conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on all commercially available avionics equipment.
What You Will Do
The employee will be responsible for ensuring that all repairs are properly performed, preparing aircraft maintenance forms and records, and ensuring all maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will possess SME knowledge of aircraft avionics systems, have hands-on familiarity with fabrication, and be able to lead avionics maintenance teams and supervise subordinate mechanics.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- FAA Airframe (License) Certificate or eligibility to receive an Airframe Certificate with limitations
- Experience as a repair station Avionics Inspector
- Leadership experience in avionics maintenance teams
- SME knowledge of aircraft avionics systems
