Role Overview

The Avionics Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electronic systems and equipment. This includes communication, navigation, radar, and flight control systems, ensuring they are operating efficiently and safely.

What You Will Do

Read and comprehend simple to complex schematics, troubleshoot electronics down to the component level, and demonstrate considerable knowledge of basic to complex electronic theory.

Requirements

  • Experience in electronics, or a related field
  • General Radiotelephone Operator License (PG) w/ Radar Endorsement desired
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple to complex schematics
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronics down to the component level
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic to complex electronic theory
  • Ability to solder surface mount components
  • Ability to utilize oscilloscopes and digital volt meters effectively
